Yes, the acid in the sodas can slowly wear down the enamel of your teeth and like everyone else has said the sugar in those things don't help either. In order to minimize the effects of soda on your teeth(at least somewhat) is to always drink soda through a straw. Drinking through a straw minimizes the chances of the soda coming in contact with your teeth.

Not only are drinks like pepsi bad for your teeth, they're also bad for your body. Pepsi has that potent combination of high refined sugars and carbonation (bubbles) that really attacks tooth enamel. However, the damage to your teeth is really just what you see on the outside. The refined sugars and carbonation of softdrink are also doing damage to your insides. Many softdrinks also contain a substance known as "high fructose corn syrup". These are especially bad as this form of sugar is not only highly refined, but its also extremely sugar to our taste buds, helping to develop tastes for more sugary substances, and in combination with food, it helps to convince our bodies that we are not full yet, thus we eat more food.

Any sugary drinks, if not taken in moderation, are harmful not only for your teeth but also for your overall health, if you are over 40. For teenagers, the sugar is required as long as you can 'burn' them by metabolism. Otherwise, be prepared to join the ever increasing number of obese people in this world!

Yes. They have a lot of sugar, carbonation, and phosphorus (spelling?), none of which are good for the teeth.
