Absolutely! Having an email address on reply cards is the new trend in weddings actually. However, for those relatives who might not have an email account (yes, they are out there), make sure you give them a mail in option, in case they would prefer doing it the old fashioned way.

NO. On wedding invitations you need people to mail back the reply card to check off their dinner choices or at least tell you the proper amount of people coming. People do not respond quickly, or at all if you use an email address. Having a reply card that must be returned makes people feel it is more important and formal. So just use the reply cards and put in a small self addressed STAMPED envelope.

Definitely. It's especially good for people who are overseas. We had an email address on our wedding invitations and about 10 out of 100 people used it. You just need to be on top of your guest list and where acceptances are coming in from. Email is actually better than phone acceptance as you can at least print off the email and put it with the RSVP cards you receive.

Oh totally, put your email on there.
Paper and phone calls just sometimes aren't convenient for some people... if I were the one receiving the invitation I would probably be more inclined to email you if I had questions rather than call.

Yes, more and more people are doing that but be sensitive to relative who cannot afford internet access or grandparents that may not have or know how to use a computer. For those, a traditional envelope and stamp would be good. Or, if you don't want to order RSVP cards, leave your phone number.

We must incorporate new technologies in our life style whenever it is possible to do so? In that context, it would be desirable to include email id in all our communications so that if the person concerned has an email id, he can write to us on that id. Secondly it must definitely be mentioned if the invitation itself contains the email id of the sender. In that case, acknowledgement can also be sent to email.

Yes. I received an invitation that way. If you are really busy and it is the best way to contact you then definitely. Make this as easy as you can cause you know it is difficult. Going through all this myself. I understand
