There's this small hole on my earhead (the outer lobe part that is directly above my ear canal) which looks as though it's been pierced... but it's not. I was born with it. My niece was born with the same exact thing. I can't find anything about it anywhere. Anyone know what it is?

could potentially be a branchial arch (embryonic) deformity. Could also just be a genetic quirk.

If it's the part of the ear I think your talking about, I had mine pierced, but there was originally no hole there.

I have one too. My mom did research on it years ago and I think it is called ear pits. My dad and my brother also have one too.
Edit: Found a site that might be what you are looking for.
