Hasn't any other Christians noticed that Atheists only want to fight? Shouldn't we ignore their foolishness but help them when they are in need?

I haven't met one that wanted my help. To tell an atheist you're a christian is like telling them you're the devil -which they don't even believe in, either, so basically you're non-existent to them - just like God.

a million- i've got self belief the bible is fact in that's context for the human beings it became written to. that's utility to me is the spirit of the truths there in. 2- How am i able to brush off an Atheists God? does no longer that be like telling a bald guy he has a foul haircut? i don't get disenchanted. everybody has their ideals, and that i won't anticipate somebody who does not understand the actuality of the Bible to act as though they do. 3- actual place. The Bible supplies a particular account of the place it became. the place the 4 rivers of the Tigris, Euphrates and the different 2 combine. Why could you have that specifics if it wasn't actual. 4- I truthfully have seen all the evidence and albeit for all the numerous "christ figures" throughtout the worldwide seperated by ability of 1000's of miles and 1000's of years of time there could be a significant place all of them have been given it from,. and that place i've got self belief is the actuality of the Bible. 5- First, Asking a Christian for evidence different than the Bible is like asking an olympic intense jumper to leap along with his legs tied at the same time. it rather is carried out, even with the undeniable fact that that's no longer as effectual, and it in no way swish. That suggested, i might desire to factor to the numerous societies that seen homosexuality as incorrect. i can factor to the actuality that it rather is counter intuitive to the thought of evolution (on the grounds that evolution relies upon on genetic diversifications) needless to say if the couple can no longer procreate then there is not any longer genetics to evolve. i may additionally factor to the actuality that general sodomy motives scientific issues which includes incontinence, and the micro organism got here across interior the anus is risky to the eurethra inflicting a minimum of infections. guy, and woman for that rely, isn't designed for...to place it sustinctly.. decrease back door get admission to. on the edge i'm for gay rights as they're defined by ability of the human beings. the U. S. shape is in keeping with government whose purely powers are derived style the concent of the ruled, and it style of feels with prop 8 and different mandates of the those that gay rights are adiquite in the mean time.

I think it goes both ways. Most people just want to push their point of view and won't tolerate opinions from the opposite side of the debate. Atheists don't want to hear what the Bible has to say when they ask a question about God, calling it illogical, which is completely missing the point of theology (it's not supposed to be proven, no religion is). In the same respect, many Christians will give baseless answers to questions about evolution with little to no fact, completely missing the point of science.

First of all, it should say "haven't any other Christians." Plural nouns take plural verbs. If there was a God, that God would be extremely offended by your grammar, and the saints would cry. Second, athiests aren't the only combative people on this forum. I'd say the number of heckling hectoring questions from Christians is probably equal to the number of heckling hectoring questions from athiests. Point being, don't assume that people of faith are above the fray here.

Christians answer atheists questions to help them better understand being a Christian, with the hope of opening up their minds and converting them from atheists to Christians

I have pondered on that question often. Opposites attract? Curiosity, ego, immaturity on the Christian's side? I have been guilty of that. My apologies, for not being a good witness, I get convicted every time when my zeal overrides my mind. I love that Lord, but sometimes He wants me to settle down, and reminds me that He does not suffer from self esteem, I do. My intentions are good and sincere, just misdirected sometimes. i should pray for wisdom when the questions or comments are incendiary. I always hope to do better next time. Amazing Grace.

I DO want your answers. I don't want ad homs and insults against my intelligence or assumptions about my learning, or attempts to psychoanalyze me, or proselytizations, or reems of Bible quotes, or other snide remarks.

I have asked many detailed religious questions here and it seems that Christians are in the majority simply incapable of even comprehending the questions, let alone providing a coherent answer.

Note that the Bible itself says that nonbelievers would consider the message of the cross foolishness. I agree with that wholeheartedly!

Atheists don't necessarily want to fight. We are just as frustrated as you are, but for different reasons. It's worse for us though, since we are in a minority.

*And I'd just like to add, it's just as rude of Christians to make negative comments about Atheists beliefs as is it for Atheists to do so to Christians. It's a two way street. People need to have their beliefs, respect others, and get over it. I'm not perfect in this regard, and I do have my moments...but at least I try!
