I talk to my parents almost everyday... sometimes, i go for about 3 days without calling, but not to often, I am 38 by the way.... your never to old to check in with your parents.

Once a day or every other day. If I dont' call for more then 2 days, my dad thinks I am lying in a ditch somewhere LOL.
My mom and I are extremely close though. Even when we lived back home, we were 3 minutes away from each other and I was over at least 2-3 times a week with the kids.

I moved out of my parents house when I was 20 and I moved from Michigan to Texas. It was the best move I ever made. I now live in Indiana but not being so close to them has made my life a lot easier. I talk to them at least once a week- but because we don't see eachother much- we don't have much to fight about anymore.

I call my parents every Sunday, except for when I call them on saturday. (I email them everyother day though) It's great to hear their voices even though I only get to go home a few times a year...I really look forward to those times. An additional question: how can I have more communication with my brothers and sister when they have such busy lives I only get an email every now and then from them?!

It depends on how far apart you live. When I first moved from my parents house I moved to another state and it was long distance and expensive to call so we took turns calling each other only on weekends. Talking to your parents isn't just about them getting into your business it's about touching base with each other to be sure that everyone/thing is OK. They may need your help but too proud to ask, then you may need their help and they'll offer. Keep in touch, we're not made to live forever.

I speak to my mom everyday! She lives across the road from and my kids spend alot of time with her. My father passed away over 20 yrs ago so my mother and I have always been close.

usually 2-3 times a week my mom and i used to talk everyday but I just moved to a new state and got a new job so 2-3 a week

It depends on the situation though...But,for me,I will call them 3 times a week to show that we really care for them eventhough we are not staying under 1 roof anymore

Everyone is grown and has busy schedules yet we all get together at least once a wek to eat and socialize. All the kids and great grand kids and even the great grand kids. My folks are our backbone.

My mom calls almost everyday, ANNOYING. But because my dad doesnt call everyday, I tend to call him about once a week. PS: my parents are divorced so when my mom calls, its not the same as when my dad calls.
