When my fiance' spends time with his friends,he's gone for about 8-10 hours. I don't mind him going, I like that he has good friends, but I never go anywhere and stay gone that long. Unless I'm with him.I don't want to seem like I'm nagging him or like I don't approve of him going to his friend's houses, but it's almost like he forgets to come home. He doesn't call or anything. They play video games for hours. He leaves at 1pm and comes in after midnight. I call before I go to bed to let him know the light will be on for him and they're still playing video games. Any suggestions on what I could do without nagging him or making him feel bad?

I think I'll just leave him be. He deserves the time with his friends. Everyone needs to do their own thing from time to time.

Thanks for all the answers so far :)

Hahaha...yeah some guys do that... i go and hang out with my friends and we chill/drink/playgames/watchfunny things and i could be gone for 8-10 hours easily... And im glad that you allow him to hang out with his friends... He probably doesnt realize that it kind of makes you feel lonely...he is just having fun with his friends... Honestly just one night when you can..just have a serious talk with him (not being bossy or mean or jealous) and just tell h im that you love that he has great friends and you have no problem with him going over there and hanging out for long periods of times but it would be nice if you guys could do something too sometimes... So try to work something out where once or twice a week he stays home with you and you guys do something fun.. OR talk to him and try to make it so you and some of his friends can do something fun. (even if its just watch a movie together and have fun) t hats my my friends do with their bf's/gf's ... they hang out with them alone but ..they Also hang out with all of their friends. Anyways like i said im glad you understand that he has friends and that you are happy to have him hang out with them but let him know you'd like some of his time too.

Eh, I can play video-games for hours and hours when I'm with my friends. So long as he doesn't do it too often, riding him about it is only going to cause unnecessary problems.
