I've never heard if there's a term for it, but some people don't drink the last 10% of their drink because it's rumored to be made up mostly of backwash.

This sounds like obsessive-compulsive disorder. People with this problem are often overly concerned about germs or contamination, which leads them to avoid touching things, or wash repeatedly, or in this case, continually leave drinks because there's something 'wrong' with them and getting new 'clean' ones.

It's like that Mel Gibson movie "Signs", where that little girl keeps going around saying her water is contaminated and keeps getting another glass.
Other than that movie, I have never heard about this problem.

That could either be obsessive compulsive disorder or mysophobia (if you feel germs are in the drink and therefore can't drink it).
