I take exception that you would refer to God as a dog, ghost, superman or a troll. When I am curious about something I study. I'm very inquisitive and have a great desire to learn be it various religions, world history, American history, history of the dinosaurs. Since June 1, 1996, the first day of my retirement, I have read 302 books. Most were factual, some were historical fiction. The last four books I have read is The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (historical fiction). Born Fighting by James Webb. James is now running on the Democrat ticket. The Bible. The Koran. So get busy and educate yourself so you can have the intelligence to answer your own questions. I couldn't live my life being narrow minded for the lack of knowledge. It won't cost you a dime. It will just take some of your time. Once in a while just for a change I read a historical romance. I have a list of every book I have read since I retired. I check them out of our local library. Try it. You will have some thing to brag about and your questions will be answered. I think your too intelligent to let anyone else form your opinion. We should all learn enough to have our own opinion. It's a free country. Why not take advantage of it?

Have you read the Bible all the way through? Okay - do you believe that the wind exists? You can't see that either. Do you know what the wind looks like? No, but you can see what it does and how it affects nature. God is much the same - we can see what He has done - His fingerprints on His handiwork of creation. The Bible says that man was made in His image. That means he is a person - but far beyond human - he has personality, character, feelings a mind - an incredible mind capable of creating matter from nothing - He does and is alot of things that our finite human minds cannot comprehend. He always has been and is not created - my mind cannot even comprehend that I just know it's true - it's obvious from studying science, math or any other subject. We don't know where space ends, we know that we could count to infiinity but we can't because we're obviously limited creatures. We can't get our minds around the concept of infinity - because we are finite - yet you believe in the concept. You can break apart a cell into chemicals and then down into the atomic and subatomic - they keep finding more and more bits of matter as they break them apart - but they can't determine where it ends! God is so amazing and so huge - He just blows my mind! Just to even have the thought that there is something more than just the finitie shows that God has to exist - or our finite minds would never be able to fathom such a thought - where in the world would we get that from? We'd probably have dreams about being lower beings on the evolutionary chain - but we don't. Man himself is obviously distinct from animals - who cannot conceive such thoughts at all.

Who is God?
The dictionary tells us:
1. the one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler of the universe.
2. the Supreme Being considered with reference to a particular attribute: the God of Israel
Where is God? The Bible tell us that He is on His throne, In heaven and everywhere at once. Isaiah 6:1, Revelation 7:10, 2 Chronicles 20:6, Acts 7:56, Psalm 139
What does God look like? We don't know. The Bible tells us that no man can see God. He is to great to take in. John 1:18
What exactly is God? God is Spirit. Also see answer #1. John 4:24
How can you fully understand the Almighty? You will believe what you want to believe. If you are truly interested in knowing God, I would recommend 4 things.
1. Study with an open mind and give Him a chance.
2. Visit www.needhim.org
3. Read the Bible
4. Read "Knowing God" by J.I. Packer.

no longer each and every Christian follows that distinctive fundamentalist view. the story of Adam and Eve is a fantasy... WAIT! in the previous Christians freak out, enable me clarify... A fantasy, interior the truest on the grounds that of the be conscious, is a narrative that would or won't be authentic. however the actual factor is that it teaches a lesson. to that end, it rather is a narrative meant to teach that God is the writer of Heaven and Earth and all of the creatures on it. I recommend, if we take the story one hundred% actually, we additionally could anticipate snakes as quickly as talked and that "flood gates" open to reason rain. that's possibly that the backyard, the serpent, Adam, Eve, etc. have been meant as metaphor or allegory... Pointing to what the author felt became an more desirable fact. technological know-how and faith can (and might) coexist. technological know-how is the study of God's creation. I recommend, there are clergymen who've docs levels in technological know-how! So needless to say the two do no longer could be separated. Proving the Earth is 6.5 billion years previous does no longer disprove God does it?

Who is God? God is the "Father" in the trinity. The trinity is the Father, Son (Jesus) , and the Holy Spirit (God on earth). He created the world and everything in in for his pirfect plan of mankind. God is the Kind of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
Where is God? God sits on his mighty throne next to Jesus in heaven, with all saved christians worshiping him humbly.
What does God look like? The holy spitit is omnipresent around the earth so he's everywhere at once, kind of like air., Jesus is simply a human who lived a poor life so on earth he was probebly wearing poor cloths. Also judging by the location, we is a black man. As for God, no one knows what he looks like because if you saw him, you would humbly fall on your knees in mercy. It's not judgement day yet, so no one really knows. As for man being the image of God mentioned in the book of Genesis, that's probebly actually referring to that we both have souls. (Thought I'd answer for what the whole trinity looks like waile im at it)
What exactly is God? Mentioned earlier, God is the Father of the trinity. It's pretty much the same question as "Who is God?"
Is he a dog, a ghost, a human, superman, or a troll? God is none of those things because he created them/the idea of them. Though Jesus was a human.
No one knows anything about God yet they still chose to believe in him? Well, no one knows scientific PROOF of God, but that's where faith comes in. Many christians don't know much about God, but that doesn't mean others don't!

God is an omnipotent being; he's everywhere. He looks exactly the way he's portrayed in South Park, as a giant rat. Okay, I don't know what he's supposed to look like, but what relevance does that have to Christianity? And I bet a lot of the questions you have are similar to ones I once had, or still have... so ask away.

Jesus Christ answers your ? at John 4; 24 " God is a Spirit and those worshiping him , must worship with spirit and truth.
What exactly is a Spirit.? Well , u know electricity is invisible, but it has power. Matter , which we are made of along with minerals, molecules, etc. is composed of energy. That's why an atomic bomb has so much power. Einstein's theory of Relativity states that Energy = mass times the speed of light squared.
Now imagine this force with a personality. The Bible says at Isaiah 40; 26 " Raise your eyes high up and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who is bringing forth the army of them even by number, all of whom he calls even by name. Due to the abundance of dynamic energy, he also being vigorous in power, not one of them is missing." Obviously this is talking about the stars.
So if matter is composed of energy, then that means energy could create matter. There is no way to physically describe God, but the Bible gives us many glimpses into his personality, especially calling him Love. That's how we're in his image, cause we have a conscience and emotiions and mental powers that he gave us.

We can answer them, but I believe the answers aren't the one's you want to hear.
Who is God?: The Lord of the Universe, the One who created the Heavens and the Earth.
Where is God?: In Heaven, and here
What does God look like: No man has seen Him, except the people who have seen Jesus Christ
What exactly is God?: He's God. He doesn't really have a human body.. I guess He's more of a Spirit. I could find it in the Bible if you REALLY want to know..
but, I suppose you don't believe the Bible?

The best analogy to explain who God is would be to think of a tree, God as the trunk, Jesus as the branches, and the Holy Spirit as the life in the tree. Every bud is a person , some people choose to receive the life the tree offers they would be described as the mature fruit , some only want to believe in part of what the tree has to offer, they would be described as a premature fruit on the tree. Some refuse to receive anything that the tree has to offer , not only do they not grow but some even fall off the tree into the grown where they are devoured. Read John 15:1 "I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman, Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes it away: and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. If one does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is dried up; and they gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. In this is My Father glorified , that you bear much fruit and so you will become My disciples"

I think it is the other way around. I think they COULD answer all those questions. I could make up answers to those questions and I am not even a Christian. Once you have it in your head and believe in something then there is no changing peoples minds. It is their right to have an opinion even if it may be wrong. The only person they are lying to is themselves. So let them believe what they want. Unless they are pushing their religious belief on you, It isn't hurting anybody,
