I have tried to meditate but I dont know what after that? There must be something extra that one has to do to develop Telepathy other than mere meditation!Can anyone help with the technique?

No. Meditation gives you better control of your own mind, nothing more. Telepathy is another thing altogether. Maybe meditation can help you quiet the voices in your own head enough that you could hear other people, if you already have the inclination to do that. I've only ever experienced "telepathy" or whatever you want to call it with people I'm already close to. "Reading" other people's honest non-verbal communication is yet another skill. Any of these things involve paying attention to and feeling with the person you are trying to read, and even when you get it, it's imprecise. Things always depend on willingness to communicate. To practice- have a friend, care about that person and try to understand what that person might be feeling. You'll get it or you won't, but at least you'll have a friend.

It's interesting that you bring this up. I'm reading a book on Natural ESP right now, but I haven't gotten to the telepathy part yet. I think telepathy occurs through a process of studied, or learned behavior that you have to tap in to naturally. Meditation is probably not a prerequisite for the process, but without researching it further I wouldn't be able to give you anything specific.
