It can only be considered a sin if it's listed in the Bible. The truth is that a lot of preachers (mostly from the southern part of the United States of America) will take their version and twist it into their own means just to justify the ends of thier own actions.
Stupid as this sounds these are also the same people that think Harry Potter books are Satanic because these fictional stories involve witchcraft. Kids don't believe everything grown-ups tell you. A large amount of these type of people are ignorant and don't have enough brain cells to be open minded for any other emotion but hate.
Do the world a favor and hug a gay man now and then. Just the thought is a warm fuzzy waiting to happen. For the record I'm not gay, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Don't listen to anyone here who says it is, because no where in the bible will you find homosexuality listed as a sin.
Religious zealots just grasp the short straw and say since the act of homosexuality isn't a natural relationship the way god intended,it must be a sin.

depends on how you view the world...most will use the words of the bible to say it is but then they don't go on to say that all sin is the same in the eyes of god. meaning lying, cheating, stealing, coveting a neighbors stuff, gossiping, etc. are sins too just like homosexuality is said to be sin. bottom line before pointing fingers of blame at someone else for their 'sin' we need to look at our own and take care of it.

I am a Christian, so here is the Christian answer:
1) Yes, it is a sin to have homosexual thoughts (and especially acting on those thoughts)
2) It is not a sin to be gay, yet never seek out a gay partner
3) You will not automatically go to Hell if you are gay. If anyone tells you that, they're idiots who don't know anything about the Bible.

Please listed to this and think about it twice. God destroyed two cities because of the sexual sins that were ocuring there. He sended his angels to that city and told them to find even one person that was with God and he would not destroy the cities but they only found a family.Their was so much corruption that God took the family out of there and God told them to not look back at the cities and the wife of the man turned to look and she was turned into stone he burned the cities. They say her stone still exists. The cities were called Sodoma and Gomorra I only know them in spanish but it is true don't miss believe in Gods words. It is okey to be who you are but just don't sin God will repay you double for your correct actions. Don't forget that we have to be afraid of what God can do to us if we don't obey him, the devil can atack your body and mind but only God can Destroy your spirit if he wishes to. So you choose you destiny. It also says in the Bible that God does not even want to look to earth because he can even smell our sins. Think about the things happening in our world now you think that God doesn't think about destroying us too? if before he destroyed a small population look now we are billions of siners. We are closer to the end more than ever. I am not against gay people I just don't think their lifestyles are appropriate. Also why do gay people use the rainbow as a sign of being gay? Do they not know that God made a pact with us and the rainbow is a significance of a pact. When Noah made his arc and God destroyed the people with a storm that lasted for 40 days the water came up to the clouds only Noah's family and a specie of every kind of animal were saved because nobody beleived what God told Noah. After God destroyed the people he regreted it so much that he made a pact with Noah and us (everybody) that the rainbow would be a pact between him and us that he will never destroy the world that way again. That is why every time it rains the rainbow comes out reminding us that the rain will only be temporary. Mother nature doesn't do the rainbow God DOES IT. You should read about that. Hell No!! (Excuse the Pun) It is not a sin to be the person you were born.....I'd say it would be more a sin to deny yourself of who your really are! Never let anyone make judgements on you. You are better than that! Be proud of who you are.

Yes according to the Bible. God still loves you though just not your lifestyle choice. If you are toying with the idea I advise against it. God does in fact have the right someone for everyone. One male and one female. Do not mean to sound mean or cruel. This is just my beliefs.

well if you believe in god then yes it is a sin but if you dont believe like most people including myself then no it is just a life style and i think people should except you how you are good luck!!!!
