Yes but only distantly. If you're wondering if you can date her, go ahead. She isn't close enough of a relative to worry about.

Your mom's cousin is your auntie. Her daughter is your cousin.
In some places though, your mom's cousin would be your first cousin. Her daughter would be your second cousin. It is so confusing to me. But any way you are related, and eww! Get some one farther away from the blood line, there are many people in this world.

YES! the daughter of your mom's cousin has the same amount of family blood that you have. This is because your mom and her cousin are the offspring of offspring of the same grandparents. your mom and her cousin then had you and the person who you think looks good. which of course then makes yall SECOND COUSINS!

I'm not sure she is your second cousin because your Mum's cousin would be your second cousin. Even so, there's some link there so probably best not to touch

You are second cousins. This is not so close a relationship as to preclude the other kind of relationship.

She's your 3rd cousin. Your mom's cousin is your 2nd cousin.

Your mom and her mom are 1st cousins so she would be your 2nd cousin.
The daughter is your moms second couisin so that makes her your 3rd cousin.
Thats how it works
