You just ARE. We are all born without dogmatic beliefs. We must be brainwashed into believing and fearing god. So all of us were once achristian. Now, I'm not, thanks to science and a propensity to not believe everything I'm told.

The Bible declares that we all sinned indirectly through the sin of Adam.
If you want to be saved from God's wrath, then you have to get under the cover of JEsus's blood, (its like an insurance, only its better). Bible says that If you believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins, and you confess with your mouth that He is Lord of your life, that you would become saved. you got to hold fast to that belief cos a lot of people in this evil societies of now will try to delude, confuse and deceive you.

First of all , you must read the bible thoroughly.
I f you find every thing logic, go ahead.
If some paragraphs are not logic, it will be advisible to think more for a religion that can be accepted through a logical thinking.
As you are looking for the truth, God will help you to reach the ultimate truth.

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and that He was raised from the dead 2000 years ago and you will have the best miracle ever known to man. It is just that simple. NOt hard. Just say this: Lord I believe that you sent your Son Jesus to this earth 2000 years ago to die for my sins. I repent and ask for forgiveness. Thank you for saving me and making me your own. I thank you for dying for me on the cross and saving me. Amen

This is something I once wrote to someone who asked the same question:
The way to Christianity is kind of like a story, and you finish it yourself at the end. This is how it works:
First off, humans messed up, no one can deny that though we are basically owned by God, we have all sinned, cursed, and worshiped false idols. It even says that in the bible:
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
This statement might not seem like that big of a deal, but there's a penalty for our sin, and It's Hell. Doing good stuff rocks, but it's not the way to heaven. You can't cover up the smallest bit of your sin by flooding your life with good deads.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
But wait, there's more! Jesus came to earth. The price of sin is death (or Hell) but Jesus paid for that! It's amazing what happened on the cross 2000 years ago!
"But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While were still sinners, Christ [God's only son] died for us. Since we have therefore been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!" - Romans 5:8-9
Time for you to finish the story. Jesus has basically already saved you, but you have to accept his ticket to heaven still! It sounds easy... and it is!
"That if you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9 -10
If you believe everything I just said, Satan has just lost his grip on you, and there's a party in heaven! You see, as God sits on his mighty throne, he doesn't view us as peasants. He is our father, our savior, redeemer, and friend! Again, there is a party in heaven. This message should not be taken lightly, because it it not religion. Religion is Man's attempt to reach God. This is a relationship, God's attempt to reach man!

Easy. Just believe that christ died for your sins, and tell him that. The first step is recognizing Jesus almighty gift of eternal life, and accepting Him into your heart. He wants to help you, and walk with you, all ya gota do is let him.

Acknowledge that you have sinned in your lifetime and accept the gift of eternal life given to you through the death of Jesus on the cross. Yes, He died for your sins - so you could be reconciled to God. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and repent (ie turn away from) of your sin.
The bible says in 1 John 1.9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Read the bible, pray and meet with other christians and you will grow in your faith.

Repent of your sins and tell Jesus Christ you're ready to accept Him as your Saviour, thanking Him for His forgiveness then get a Bible and fill yourself with His Word every day :)

The best example of a Christian is Jesus Christ, he gave us a model to follow(1Peter2:21)So if you want to be a real Christian then your best way to go about it is to follow Jesus footsteps as closely as possible! If you do that, you will succeed!
