that not all christians think that most of the world is not saved and that those people are going to hell in a handbasket.

that some actually care for the earth and believe that even though the world may end .. it probably is not going to happen for 1000s of years.

I could go on.

That the true ones are actually going to Heaven and that many people who are not Christians claim to be Christians.
That some Christians are new and don't necessarily know all their theology.
That they love people, but hate evil.

That there are different kids of Christians. They are not one large group of homophobic bible-thumpers who say "Jesus" every other word.
There are all different types of people, and therefore, all different types of Christians. Some are gay, some rarely read the bible, some speak little of "Jesus."
Many will say that there are only the "true" kind of Christian, but by definition, a Christian is a believer in Christ, and that leaves it open for a lot of different definitions.

Being authentis or the lack thereof. Most people (the world) think Christianity is for the weak or Jesse Ventura anyway...

NOT just Christians but all religions... what is the problem with religious groups that they feel so damned superior to people that they feel they "MUST" impose themselves on everyone around them at all times...? Why do they impose their beliefs on everyone? Let's see, one religion wants to impose prayer in schools (then they say that they must pray before the start of every class and take time away from the teacher) yet they do not pray this often at home when not in school, or at the work place they may own or run. Another would stone your car if you drive by "their" neighborhood on their sabbath... like they and and they only paid for the paving of those PUBLIC streets? Wait... if I wear a mask concealing my face, would I be allowed to enter a bank or drive around in the streets or enter a government bank or be photographed wearing a mask for my Driver's License? They avoid paying taxes under the flimsiest of excuses, they do not wear a uniform to defend this country... and they want to tell us what to do and how to live our lives and how we should conduct ourselves in the privacy of our homes?

First, the super rich and powerful set themselves apart by having their own set of rules to avoid laws they impose on the rest of us and avoid paying taxes and wearing a uniform to defend this country; they demand WE make sacrifices that they are excluded from... Then, the politicians... and now the religious groups... what's going on here? They want rights, freedoms and liberties AND the privilege not having to obey the same laws as the rest of us and of telling others what to do yet without the responsibilities of full-fledged citizens? What's going on?

Maybe the problem is with me... I want God to tell me that HE exists and not some flunky messenger or some idiot with slogans and propaganda nonsense... I want the BIG GUY to tell me HIMSELF and everyone else can leave me alone until such time.

Damned, I don't knock on their doors, I don't impose my music on them, or my TV programs... and since they do not pay my rent or pay to have the streets paved or pay ME to dress and groom myself... why should they tell me what to do in my own home or in my automobile or how I dress?

I'm sorry, sweetie, but for me it's the never-ending willingness of most Christians to try and muddle other peoples' thinking. If 'god' is so powerful, why oh why does he need humans to prove him? If we decide we want to believe, then we will, ya know?

...that we usually stand out for good! ...that we are secured because true Christians are heaven-bound! ...that our only way to heaven is as simple as accepting and having Christ in our lives as our Savior! ...that only by this, we have unlocked for ourselves the mystery behind the Bible! ...that we have perfect peace, joy, hope and feeling of completeness in the midst of life's trials and tribulations! ...that through our prayers, we've become God's channel of His grace and blessings into this world! ...and that we are adopted children of God through Christ...basically that's it! -a lot of thing i could think of- =)

How so many of them can read and hear about Jesus' ministry in the gospels, yet be so intolerant of anyone who doesn't believe exactly as they do. (And I speak from a Christian POV.)

How someone can place all of their belief in a book that was translated by man. I was raised Christian & could never understand that concept...I question everything.
