My husband wants to learn to play the Banjo as part of his mid-life crisis. What is a good reasonably priced banjo?
Manufacturer? Price range? Any advice?

I purchased a used one 4 to 5 years ago at a music store for $250. For a beginner it is just fine. However, I recently went to a blue grass festival where they were selling new ones and the range was from $1000 to $2500. They have what is called a travel banjo which is really light weigh and a softer tone. You might want to start with one of those. It is also hard to find a banjo teacher. Look into that before you purchase one. Good Luck! vw123
