It was a silly selling name that worked. The original commercials went something like;
"Hey, what's that pea-nutty smell?"
"Whatchamacallit."
"What are you there eating?"
"Whatchamacallit."
"Can't you just tell me what it is?"
"I told you."
"You did not! You just said 'Whatchamacallit.'"
"That's right."

All my friends wanted that candy bar to try and trick someone like that. Problem was, everyone else had seen the commercial.

because they didn't know what to call it. i ate those when i was 2 years old so they have been around FOREVER
