I know that our children will of course be O+ but I just want to know since we have the same blood type will we be able to have healthy children or children at all?? and is our blood type compatible with each other?

There will be no problem with your offsprings. Generally,differences of blood type between the couples have no effect on the children. The only problem that could arise is when the wife is Rh negative and gets pregnant with Rh positive baby.(Problem would arise on subsequent pregnancies if not given with Rhogam after delivery or any miscarriage). Since both of you are Rh positive then there is nothing to worry.♥

Actually, your child CAN be 0+ but does not HAVE to be. You each carry a recessive gene for another blood type, and these can appear in your children. It's not quite as simple as you are making it out to be.

As far as the health of the children, and your ability to conceive, the blood type should have no affect, since you are both +

Yeah, definitely compatible... it's the same kind! I think there's only really a danger if you're Rh negitive but your husband is Rh positive... then if your child has Rh pos blood, when the blood mixes at childbirth your body starts to form antibodies and it can be dangerous to have another kid without taking the proper drugs. I think. Grade 10 bio was a while ago, it's hard to remember!

all blood type is compatible when mating. only when the mother has negative blood and the child positive. then it gets a little complicated... have fun and enjoy your future. children. blood transfusions are a different story

My husband and i are both O+ and we have 2 wonderful healthy
boys. They are now 28yrs and 22yrs.
