If they ever find an "ark" on Mt. Arrarat, I would be really interested in learning about it. The fact that they can't might mean it's all B.S. Ya think?

There have been satellite pictures which show a wooden structure sticking out of snow and ice on Mt Ararat. The Russian army supposedly had an military expedition examine it during the 1940's or so but their published photos and movie footage leave out the Ark. I have a picture from an American Archeology Expedition from the 1960's in black and white as a screen saver which they called "the anomaly", it looks like the ark totally exposed in the middle of a steep rocky valley. Josephus, the 1st century historian, recorded that in his day people could travel to see the Ark exposed. One of the latest claims is that the ark has fallen from where it was and broken in two and one of those halves is what is now seen while the other half is under snow and ice. Last year I actually e-mailed the president at the White House suggesting that our airplanes in Iraq may be able to fly over nearby Ararat and do some survey or picture taking for the ark. At that time there was a sort of drought in the area making it more likely to see something. Of course I have not got an feedback on that request but you never know.

There is an expedition being conducted right now, in Turkey, in the quest for Noah's Ark. Prior to this, more exact, this venture could not be conducted due to Russia having an agreement with Turkey to prevent any "spies" from the U.S. etc. , during the "cold war" period. By the way; the fossil record supports a "Great Flood" occurring thousands of years ago. Quite frankly, if God were to come to this earth, man kind would turn on Him and try to kill Him for being an alien from outer space. He came once, and was crucified. What makes us think that we are more above the Romans of that time?

They have found what they believe to be Noah's are in the mountains of Iran. It is in the highest points of the mountain range. They have found a ship like structure and petrified wood. Iran govt has not been very cooperative in this endeavor. Also realize with all our technology there are still vast parts of the the Pacific oceans that have yet to be explored. There are over three hundred missing airplane from WW II that they can't find and that was sixty years ago. Take a needle, drive 5 miles. along the way through it out. Wait one month then try to find it. it is about the same thing.

Some people including one of the former astronauts believe its in Turkey or in that area of the world. Up until now the governments involved have not allowed too much research because if true it will authenticate the Bible and Muslim governments don't want anything to go to far in confirming the Jewish or Christian Religion. Remember a few years ago when the current intifada had been going just a little while how the Palestinians desecrated the tomb of Joseph. Islam can be very intolerant of Biblical archaeological sites.

Christianity is not based on the flood or the ark. They are basically part of the stories in the Old Testament and were written by folks who were setting down history and believed what they were writing. Why would you expect the ark to be still intact? After 4000 plus years? If someone finds it it will substantiate the stories but the fact that it has not been found (or maybe it has) does not mean that the flood never happened.

Ok!! I am an expert on Noahs Ark.It is on top of Mt. Ararat which you probably know already. It is buried under several thousand years of ice. They do have satellite pictures of something up there but it is not conclusive. No one can go up there anymore because the Turkish gov. has forbade it.The mountain is very close to a military base and they are affraid of spys.In the late 18 hundreds and the early 19 hundreds, there were explores who came back from the mountain with petrified wood and one father and son said they actually saw something huge made of woo with cages of a sort.It would be great to see it but what if we are not supposed to so we go by blind faith? I have often wondered that. And for the person who called you a name and said the wood would desentagrate, ancient wood is usually petified.

It is suggested that mount Sabalan in Iran is the ark’s resting place. There have been numerous amounts of expeditions conducted by Creationist Christians and for the most part they haven’t found direct evidence of its existence. However, recently in June 2006, a man by the name of Cornuke, found a massive structure made of wood. A sample of this wood was sent to be analyzed to verify its date of origin.
According to "The New Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain" book , pieces of the ark have been found and are on display in a museum on the grounds of an Armenian monestery located in the city of Etschmiadzin , Armenia.
Although many remain weary of its truth without solid facts—God, Christianity, and religion is all based upon blind faith. Believing without having seen the Ark is more than enough to validate its existence.

A large boat has been found on the side of a mountain. near where the bible story says that the Ark came to rest after the flood subsided enough to ground it.Proof has been found that there has been more that one "World flood" and stories abound of other people who were given the same warning and built a similar craft with the same instructions about saving two of every type of animal in their area and bringing them aboard to ride out the flood/s.

There's stuff out there. The wood wouldn't rot very much if it's on an ice cold mountain (though I do not know if that mountain is one of them or not)
That's small evidense really. If you consider plate tectonics, the mid atlantic ridge, moon crators facing the earth, ancient rechords and manuscripts, it pieces together quite well. There's a lot of succesful studies on the ark. You can check it out at www.creationscience.com

They have satellite picture of what might be the ark frozen on mount Ararat, (in Turkey I think,)however, it s in a military zone and no one has been allowed to do an expidition. I only know this from watching the discovery channel. Sometimes people think I'm smart.
