I already have waited things out once before, and i found women on pregnancy websites to discuss this stuff with, not just a random bunch of people..all you have to do is research how reproduction works..or even read all the other many hundred previous questions on "am i pregnant?"

i'm with you, it's getting old.
it seems like every other question on here is "am i pregnant?"
they should start a site just for those questions.
if you care about your baby's health consult a doctor, not a bunch of idiots on yahoo!
the dumbest one i've heard so far: "we used a ziplock bag as a condom, could i be pregnant?"

You need to see things from their point of view. Pregnancy is a big deal. Sometimes you just need to know that there are other people out there going through the same thing you are. Most of the women that ask those questions just want to discuss the possibility while waiting to test. Why? Because with most tests you have to wait till the day you expect your period to take them. Some tests you can take a few days(up to 7) before, but if you get a negative it doesn't mean you aren't pg. Think about it. You are having syptoms but no results on a test, what are you supposed to think. You don't want to go to the doc and pay a bill or waste your time for nothing so you continue to wait. You decide to ask questions to find out if something else could be going on. Maybe you just don't understand yet how important moral support is while you are pg. Maybe one day you will.

I agree with you. When I thought I was pregnant I just went out got a test then booked in with the doctor. EASY... half the people on these sites are under age and the other half answer everything negatively so its really hard to actually work out who is trying to be helpful.
And I don't undertand that if they are sitting in front of a computer and they have the ability to type this question in yahoo answers why cant they do a search on google to find an answer which might actually be helpful.

Exactly! I mean, it doesn't seem that difficult to find out. You go to the store and buy a test kit and take it home, or some place else if you can't take it home. You pee on the stick and wait. Then, when the time is up you look at the stick depending on the color it will tell you whether you are pregnant or not.
If you don't want to take the test, then just wait and time itself will answer the question for you if and when your belly begins to get big.
If they are that worried about it they shouldn't be having sex in the first place, especially un-protected sex.

Haha Yes to those who you can tell are young girls in high school. My younger brother and his girlfriend are going through this also... every other weekend I hear, "She isn't sure if she's pregnant!" I think parents really need to talk to their children about all of this, and yes, there are websites to go to that will help- I always went to Discovery Health- where you can actually watch the baby being developed throughout the trimesters. But when every other question is "Am I pregnant?" it does get old! Oh well!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh thankyou for bringing this up! I am sick of it too! They seem too god damn stupid to be raising kids in the first place. half the questions asked by these people are meant for doctors only so why do they ask on here thinking they'll get some medical information. they should just do internet searches! why do they do that?!?! it is ANNOYING! i guess they want to brag thinking we give a **** that there gonna bring another hungry mouth to feed into a world that isn't gonna hold anymore people!

i agree, i am so sick of ppl aking could i be pregnant. did they not take sex ed classes?
if you have sex, preotected or not, you CAN get pregnant. the most common way of knowing is to take a preg test when you miss your period.
also i hate questions like, can i get pregnant if he comes on my belly. those nieve, silly children. there is nothing worse than an unplanned baby being brough into this world. expecially by a girl who does not know a thing about her own body.
BTW i have a beautiful 3month old baby boy.

no i think it helps to as a question if they are to scared to ask some one else to me i think that it is easier to talk to someone else who you don't know rather going and seeing people you do know cause then they will be all in your business and asking who you think your baby daddy is or that girl is pregnant and stuff like that to me i just think that it is a whole lot easier to ask other people what the symptoms are rather than your friends or a doctor cause you might not want anybody to know yet

i asked that question a couple of days ago an if it wasnt for the advice from these people i wouldnt have had the balls to take take one so no i think its good all the woman askin there askin for some support and some guidence im 17 and needed a little shuv to get my butt into gear leave them alone thankfuly tho i am pregnant an im happy these sites are designed for people to ask questions and get answers so if ur so sick of girls/woman askin if there pregnant simply look in a different catagory or go strait past the question.
