I swear I am not conceited, in fact I think I have the opposite problem, but the question I am about to ask, one might think I have a big head. I never ask guys for their numbers,I work as a bartender, so I get numbers every night. I do attract good looking guys, so now here is the problem-I met a hot manager of a restaurant ,he came up to me and we had an awesome chat,he then asked for my number.I gave it to him and he called "3 days later". We go out, have an AWESOME time, I met his best buddies and their gf on the second day and later on the week I met his dad. However, I LOVE spending time with him, whereas he never has time for me (he's in the restaurant business, 16 hrs a day, 6 days a week) He told me he really likes me and that I just have to have faith in him. Yeah, it's been less than 2 weeks and we have slept together already. I just came out of a 8 years relationship and I seriously don't know how to "date".I do really like this guy, but he already has called me clingy!Help

Why on earth do people have to have sex right away in a relationship. Where's the mystery, the hopes, the wondering how things will go no a certain day, in a certain place. You removed all the romance from the situation.

Now you have to wait.....anything else will prove his point.

Do not call him, do not sleep with him. Let him come to you, if you don't, and you pursue him - he will run like a rabbit on a hot sidewalk.

It seems like your moving very fast! Being called clingy after only 2 weeks is a bit full on. If you like him, just give him some space. If your meant to be it will work out for the best. Don't rush things. Good things come to those who wait.

that is a really bad sign! I hope for your case that you can somehow prove to him that you aren't clingy, guys number one pet hate is clingyness in girls. Just give him some space and dont freak out if he is talking to other girls, if you can pull this off for a month or two it will work, unless of course you have already ruined your chances by being too clingy.

Some guys like clingy (emotionally dependent) women while some men like independent women.

I guess he likes you to be independent since he cannot give the time that you "demand" as it seems.

It's true that you need to have a little more faith, a little more trust but keep him in your radar. :-)

YOU JUST GOT OUT OF A LONG TERM REALTIONSHIP, THAT NORMAL TO BE A LITTLE SCARE. BUT YOU NEED
TO FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT, THEN YOU WILL
TRUST YOUR SELF INSTEAD OF CLINGY TO SOMEONE
THAT MAY NOT BE IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL. AND YOU
MAY NEED TO TAKE MORE TIME BEFORE JUMPING TO
THE NEXT LEVEL, START SLOW, DONT RUSH IT.
AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IF IT MEANT TO HAPPEN IT
WILL. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
