I'm not old or unattractive; this is just a hypothetical question. I'm in love with an Atheist man and I don't know if my religion is a turn-off for him. I wouldn't try to push anything on him (not religiously anyways, lol) especially since such an act is forbidden.

Hmmm, I could have sworn I addresses this question to Atheist Men. Yet I see non-atheist women answering....

Why would he even care? By the gods, any man worth anything won't date you based on whether he likes your religion or not.
My husband is the son of a Methodist Minister and has a Buddhist bent. I'm Wiccan. You can't get much different than that. He loves me for who I am and I love him for who he is.
If he can't accept all of who you are, he isn't worth your time. But you have to do the same for him.

Sure I would. An atheist man probably would be more willing to look beyond just your religion. A christian man would probably date you with the idea of converting you and showing you the error of your ways.

Assuming the chemistry is there, yes. But to be totally honest, I might be more inclined to expect it would be a short fling.
Your religion probalby won't be a turn off if you are otherwise open minded, intelligent, and rational.

In my experience, most Pagans are very intelligent with thought provoking ideas, which many Atheists like.

In my experience, atheists and pagans get along just fine. It's the rare atheist that will verbally attack a pagan. They're either not familiar enough with our beliefs to attack them, or they're happy we don't proselytize.

hmmm, well now, are you in love on a crush level or are you seeing this man? Methinks the former as if you were even only in the chai tea date phase your wonky belief system would have worked it's way into the conversation somewhere between your undying love for the poetry of Sylvia Plath and your interest in vegan cookery.... are there no sensitive Morrissey worshiping goth boys in your town? hmmmm?

I don't let religion have any influence on that. It is not important......only if the girl tries to push the religion on me, but you said you would not. It does not matter to me.

I'd date a pagan. Why not?
Marriage and child reering, however, is another question; i absolutely will not raise my children with religion.
