Absolutely. A man that is a gentleman is very attractive. Women who feel the way you describe are insecure - no one can make them feel inferior, unless they already feel that way inside.
Keep doing what you are doing. But, always spend your time in places where a gentleman can meet an actual "lady." No bars. You have to hang out in quality place to meet quality people.

Yes there are some women out there that do. There are the ones that when you do all the gentlemen stuff they feel like a princess, goddess, or anything else that could possibly go with a fairy tale story that happens to be of high quality. But you also have the ones that aren't used to it. They weren't raised with manners and what not. They think that if you hold the door you may feel sorry for them. If you try to help carry something that looks heavy they think that you think that they can't handle it. But to answer your question yes there is because me and my sisters love it when a guy just randomly comes out of no where and opens the door smiling looking you straight in the eye. It makes you feel kinda important to the world.

Yes. Definately. Tell them that this is what courtesy looks like, it's likely they haven't seen it in a while. While I was pregnant I had people bud in line ahead of me and my toddler at the bank or coffee shop. People rarely offer to help with doors when I've been on crutches, or pushing a stroller, or grocery cart. I recently gave 2 young girls a lift (I'm a girl too) and they stole my cell phone. Society sees kindness as weakness. And they do not accept it.

Yes, sir. We sure do. I think its just a matter of who you are dating. Some of the problem may be that there might be women who aren't used to having a man do that for them.
It might be a matter of communicating your efforts as a gentleman and reassuring your lady friends that its part of your personality/character to do this. Part of being in a relationship and meeting people, is opening up to one another. Discussing this type of stuff and saying why you really do it (b/c you care) might allow them to see your actions more clearly. However, that is if you think she is worth the effort.

I think that as long as it's done in a subtle way, it's charming. Running to open a car door is excessive... but opening a door on the way into a building is polite.
Yes... many women like jerks and many men like b***hes. Such is life... gentlemen have always been "it" for me.

I absolutely LOVE a sweet guy that opens the doors for me and helps me tote heavy things! They should appreciate your help as longs as your doing it out of respect and kindness. Just remember that just because we are women it doesn't mean we are helpless.

That kind of girl is a freak hahahaa!!!
As long as its not a FAKE gentleman, than i love it....
because sometimes guys just show kindness to the girl they want, but treat other girls differently. Maybe thats the reasons for inferior.
But if i can see that its a sincere gentleman, it makes me feel easy and appreciated. Women will easily fall to it.
