Maybe, be very careful you very well could be. I saw a warning for a water purifier kit for camping that uses iodine. It said if you are allergic to shell fish to use with caution. That is something you should ask a doctor so you can be careful in the future. Vitamins have it, salt has it and so does medicine.

I dont think so ..Iodine is an essential part of our body and loss of it can cause serious problems like being exausted, mental deficiency, gout, etc. Its like saying Im allergic to milk...will I also be allergic to Calcium!!
No way...coz the body normaly should not react to calciumsince it is already made of it,
