I'm skinny and drinkin beer right now. I think its ridiculous that these fundamentalist jerk offs say that drinking is bad, while they ignore gluttony. I say any victimless crime is no sin

Actually, neither donuts (or rolls) or beer should be allowed on church grounds. I myself have often thought that church coffees and such were the breeding grounds of heart attacks and strokes.
Then again, why would anyone want to be caught drinking a beer at a church event, unless it was under tight supervision and allowed by the church? Are you talking about a church picnic of some sort? That would be highly irregular for a church member to "bring his own" at an event like that, especially when young children are involved in the festivities. When we go to such events, we have to obey the rules of the church and congregation. We cannot just interject our own family or cultural traditions on others when we take part in events, especially those orchestrated by a church. Many people would not even attend an event where drinking was allowed. They are terrified by the prospect of being accosted by a drunk person. They would not feel safe.

Amen brother! Lets start us a revolution! Lets beat them at their own game. Everyone, go to church drunk on sunday, lets see them kick the whole congregation out! Cause they would too!
Stupid question of the night? Are you brain dead? He's comparing one sin to another, and it's true. You always see peole getting persecuted for alchoholism, and sexual sins, byut never gluttony! That's why a majority of americans are obese, it's not frowned upon by any mainstrean religion in America. But homosexuality is, so there are very few gays in America compared to, oh, say thialand. And whats their main religion? Exactly. I think this is one of the better questions I have seen tonight. Nice work. Very thought provoking.

Because as of right now, donuts aren't a controlled substance, and there's no law against eating them in public. I'm not saying the person should be eating them, but there are laws against drinking in certain public areas.

It agains the law to drink alcoholic beverages in public and it goes against the church's rules. There's no law or rule that an obese person cannot eat anything they want. With your logic, I would like all idiots thrown out, as well. So, you are prejudiced against fat people? I bet Santa won't bring you anything for Christmas now.

God accepts both lean as well as obese people without any discrimination. Alcohal is associated with many traits which disturb the peace of the praying place and the alcohaled person may not be correctly follow the sermons and will also be impaired to learn from such sermons.

No fat people should not be expelled from church, but it is my belief that stupid people should be expelled from YH answers.

well for one thing how old was the "Fit Healthy Person" and is the church licensed to have alcohol on the premises.....you have to be considerate of the person's property you are on and the laws governing them......

What is your evidence? I have seen church-supported events (such as softball games and picnics) that have had beer available.
