Get a picture of the Zebra Tatoo that you want, put it up on your bedroom mirror for one year before you get it. I have done this several times over the years and still have not gotten a tatoo. I get sick of the picture after two or three months. If the tatoo is something more spiritual, like the zebra is your totem, and it has a deeper meaning for you, then I say go ahead and do it. At 18, you're legal to do so, even if your parents don't approve. And I would recomend on the back. If you put it on your wrist it can prevent you from getting certain jobs that you might want in the future. Always get a tatoo where you hide it when you need to like at home and at work, yet flaunt it when at play with a tank top or a low back dress. Just on a personal note, I don't like tatoo's that seem unfinished, like just a head. I prefer a whole picture, like a whole zebra, even if it is small, because it just looks more finished and polished. But that's just me.

If you are 18, you don't really have to persuade your parents at all. You are old enough at this point to make those choices on yourself. As far as going thru with getting the zebra and where to put it, its your body, so I cannot help you out there.

i think ur wrist would be a good spot. And ur 18, an adult and can make the decision on ur own. But if u feel u need their permission then i would just ask, tell them u dont want a big one, and ur ideas where u want it. one tat isnt going to ruin ur life as most might think.

at 18, you can do what ever you want to your body.
That said, I do have a better idea.
If you really are into the zebra look, I would dye your pubes in a zebra pattern... that would be wayyyyyy cool. The look of surprise as men pulled off your panties would just be an added bonus!

You're 18 so you can get one.
If they're paying for your school or something, I would just wait because that's more important.
If you want them to buy it for you, you're on your own. I think you're old enough to pay for the things you really want but don't need.

Do u love your parents? Why did they disagree in u having the tatoo done? The only answer I can provide is that u should be more independent but you have to consider the two points above first!!!

Get it, but make sure that this is something that you will want to look at when you are a saggy, baggy elderly senior citizen. Don't tell them unless it is going to be in a visible area. You find it is easier, as you get older, to surprise your parents with the crazy things you did when you were younger!

If you are 18 you don't need permission legally... unless they will kick you out for getting one you can go on your own. If you do decide to get it on your wrist think ahead on if you will be able to cover it for jobs, etc
