I got hypnotized tonight at the fair and I have a few questions about it. I really don't remember anything about it, aside from volunteering and then waking up. My friends say I did a lot of funny stuff but I have no idea. Also when I woke up I felt really groggy and loopy. I still feel kind of out of it, is that normal? I've never gone under hypnosis before and I am just worrying. Is this psychsomatic, or are these genuine hypnosis side effects. So yeah...let me know. Thanks!

You were out cold girl! Perfectly normal and nothing at all to worry about. You experienced the deepest level of hypnosis. Called somnabulistic trance depth if you want the technical term. That depth of hypnosis is characterized by exactly what you experienced - amnesia. The grogginess was probably gone by the time you woke up in the morning and not a concern, but the hypnotist should have been more careful to bring you back out with some suggestions to make you fully alert. As deeply hypnotized as you were it would not surprise me if you were the star of the show and did "funny stuff", but isn't that why you volunteered? As far as an explanation of how all this works, the closest thing to compare it to is dreaming. The conscious mind is totally shut down but the subconscious is very active and causes us to dream. Same deal with hypnosis. The conscious mind is basically "asleep" and your subconscious is running the show guided by the suggestions of the hypnotist. One final thought, since you can go into hypnosis to a very deep level you could use it for a lot of stuff. Study, diet and exercise, overcoming habits or fears, all kinds of things. You could make changes very rapidly with hypnosis. Drop me a line if you want to chat further.

Frankyl, there are a few kinds of people who use hypnosis. One group would be clinical therapist, psychologist, life coach and trainers. Second group, entertainers just for the sake of entertainment. The last group may be people who use it for criminal activities. Theoratically speaking, a hypnotised state is when U feel relaxed and at ease. U should be fully conscious of what U are hearing and doing. Hypnotist can only be successful when the participant is willing and also playful and daring by nature. U will not reveal things that are deemed as secrets yourself thru hypnosis cos U still know what is impt to U.

No one turns out to love Lady Gaga! I have no idea a lot of her stuff, however what I've heard is just a little catchy. Anyway, we're all masters of brain manage. We control others always with our 'flattering' feedback and 'philanthropic' movements. People honestly think you're a good man or woman should you TELL THEM WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR! Just learn 'How To Win Friends and Influence People' , through Dale Carnegie should you desire to turn out to be a Master of Mind Control, or simply become a member of Asio or the CIA, hell, turn out to be a polititian or a Journalist. The offerings are never-ending!

Tonight take one Zolpidem tab and wake up tomorrow morning fresh and young.
Some trade names of zolpidem are Ambien®, Stilnox®, Stilnoct®, Hypnogen® or Myslee®.

We do not know what happens in the brain under hypnosis.

Don't worry...this is normal for really deep subjects when the hypnotist didn't fully bring you out of it. You'll come out of it after a good night's sleep.
