Ever since we divorced over two years ago, we said very little to each other. (we have daughter together) Just this year, he has been calling me a lot. But when he calls he talks about all these women he is dating and telling me about their sex life. Why is he doing this. I tell him I don't want to hear it, but he continues to talk about it. I mean, he's obsessed with calling me and telling me details. Why?

Of course he wants you to jealous, if he didn't he would not even talk to you about it. What I would do, "Well Jim I am Glad that you have met someone.", and sound sincere when you say it. Then come up with an excuse that you have another call or you need to get back to washing dishes( what ever you can come up with). Once he realizes that you are not that interested in his sex life he will eventually let up.

Tell him that if he has something to discuss with you about your daughter, then you will talk to him, but if he starts talking about other women and sex with them then you will hand up on him. Than anything he does with another woman has nothing to do with you, unless your daughter is involved, and you don't want to hear about it. And do it, if he brings up any woman, or activity with another woman, then HANG UP! Eventually he will get the message.

Every X wants his wife to be jealous, so he will still have some sort of connection or control over you. Something to get under your skin. He craves the power that he no longer possesses. They like to know they can still get to you somehow. Most probably if you go along with him LAUGH WITH HIM & ENCOURAGE HIM TO GO WITH THESE WOMEN, HE MIGHT NOT ENJOY TALKING ABOUT IT WITH YOU SO MUCH. Make up something about your sex life doesn't have to be true, do it just to shut him up!

he wants you to know that he is still a desirable man which is probably not the case. ignore him and don't worry about and hav't you ever seen american pie take the number of woman he's slept with and divide by three then you'll have the number of woman he's really been with. lol don't be jealous you don't need him and obviously don't want him anymore

Because deep down inside, he is miserable without you and is trying to show you that he is desirable to other women.
He can not stand the fact that you have moved on with your life.
Divorced 2 years?
Give it a few more months and he will plead with you to take him back.

Tell him that you'd LOVE to talk .....but your boyfriend/husband is waiting for you in the shower!!!! Then giggle and say this is the BEST sex you ever had!! He should get the hint!

cos he think he live life better than u....i think he just bragging n exaggerating bout it...next time when he call, just ask him, does calling u n telling his sex life make him feel good n then ask him to call again next time cos u dont bother bout it!!!or, u can play the same game like him...call him even if u make a teeny smile to strangers n brag about it for hours..let see if he like it!!!

It is your fault. If you did not listen to him, he would not talk to you. Just be friendly and talk only about your child. Other wise, just pretend like you did not hear him and he does not exist. You are both just being immature. Grow up

He wants you to be jelous and also sad that you gave him up. My ex-wife and I don't have that problem as we only talk when our children are involved and she wants more money. I pay child support and can't afford more because I am on long-term disability.
