I think more details should do more justice to my situation. I asked a girl out the first time last thursday and she said she'll call back but didn't. Then on monday at school she said that her phone got wet and couldnt call me back to let me know (It wasnt even on MSN/mobile so I guess I will believe that), surprisingly though I saw it come online last sunday night, but probably she got a new phone that day?. 2nd time which was recently I asked her to go out tomorrow, she said that she's sick (sore throat/flu), and is getting off work late tomorrow, ...Jeez all I wanted was a simple lunch and conversation, my luck sucks!!!
I've asked her, "do you have a BF?" no. "Are you seeing someone?" no.
Anyway is she BSing or is it for real? like i said before one more shot, then bye bye. I rather hear her say NO, I can deal with shitty emotions, better that then confusion.

You sound like a young guy. Younger girls have difficult time just saying no to guys. They don't want seem mean, especially if they think you are a nice guy.If they don't respond right away, go one to someone else.
Seriously, I dealt with this same issue when I was a young man. It feels terrible, and I agree, it would be better if they just said no. Don't take it personally, just go on as if they did. Being persistant when they don't respond just makes it worse. Women find confidence attractive, and continuing to chase after them like that just makes it worse.

The thing you have to keep in mind about this is most likely it is not you or anything to do with you. Many women do not want to hurt or reject a guy by straight up saying no. So they come up with excuses which in the long run for the guy are much worse. As a female, I might say no to someone just because I have rough things going on in my life and dont want to bring someone else into it.

maybe you are a predictable guy,when i was young i had a sports car,got so many girls,but now i dont even have a car,i am a regular guy and **** works just fine,you gotta let out that subtle hint that you are not desperate and that you are just trying to see if you could be of mutual help to each other,

Why don't you ask her this, "Do you want to go out with me?"
If she says, "Yes"
You ask her "When do you want me to pick you up?"
If she fails to show up, she answered your question.
I had problems in the past with I had gotten sick or my boss made me stay late and I really couldn't afford to lose my job.
