how do i replace front discs (rotors) and pads on a 1998 toyota camry (4-cyl)...step by step instructions please :)

I just did it on my 1994 van for first time, so can't be too much different.
open hood, open brake fluid caps
lift one side of front up, remove tire,
use a screwdriver or pry bar to move pads away from rotor (makes it easier to put new ones on)
on back of calipers, there were 2 bolts, same size, remove
lift caliper over and off rotor, (may need to remove 1 pad)
remove rotor (may be frozen, may have to loosen with a hammer
replace rotor
replace pads
replace bolts
replace tire
due over again on other side
Once done, do not drive off in car, pump brakes until pressure builds Test Test test to make sure you have brakes (No need to bleed)
tighten brake fluid caps
Enjoy saving about $125

REPLACEMENT

Remove front wheel. Remove the wheel and temporarily fasten the disc with hub nuts.

Inspect pad lining thickness. Check the pad thickness through the caliper inspection hole and replace the pads if they are not within the specification. Minimum thickness: 1.0 mm (0.039 inch)
Lift up caliper.
Remove the bolt and flexible hose from the bracket.

Hold the sliding pin on the bottom and loosen the installation bolt, and remove the installation bolt.
2 anti-squeal springs 2 brake pads
4 anti-squeal shims

4 pad support plates NOTICE: The anti-squeal springs and support plates can be used again provided that they have sufficient rebound, no deformation, cracks or wear, and have had all rust, dirt and foreign particles cleaned off.
Check disc thickness and runout.
Install 2 or 4 pad support plates.
Install new pads. NOTICE: When replacing worn pads, the anti-squeal shims and wear indicator plates must be replaced together with the pads.

Apply disc brake grease to both sides of the inner anti squeal shims.
Install the 2 anti-squeal shims on each pad.

Install outer pad. NOTICE: There should be no oil or grease adhering the friction surfaces of the pads or the disc.
Install the 2 anti-squeal springs.
Install caliper.
Draw out a small amount of brake fluid from the reservoir.

Press in the piston with a hammer handle or similar implement. HINT: If the piston is difficult to push in, loosen the bleeder plug and push in the piston while letting some brake fluid escape.
Install the caliper.
Hold the sliding pin and torque the installation bolt.
Install the flexible hose and bolt to the bracket. Torque: 29 Nm (21 ft. lbs.)
Install front wheel.
Check that fluid level is at max line.

THATS WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CAR IT WAS A 2005 TOYOTA COROLLA AND THEN I ENDED UP GETTING INTO A CAR ACCIDENT RIGHT AFTERWARDS.... OMG THEN I CRASHED GOING ONLY 10 MILES PER HOUR AND TOTALED THE CAR.... I LOST OUT ON THE CAR AND THE MONEY.... I GOT ONLY 2000 DOLLARS BACK AND OWED IN HOSPITAL BILLS. i ONLY OWED LESS THAN 3000 LEFT ON THE FREAKIN CAR AND NOW I HAVE TO BORROW SOMEONES CAR. IT SUCKS! GET IT CHECKED OUT CAUSE WHAT YOU THINK MIGHT BE A LITTLE PROBLEM MAY BE A MAJOR PROBLEM! GOOD LUCK AND HOPEFULLY IT WASN'T WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR. UNKNOWN PROBLEM..... WASNT THE BRAKES OR THE BELT.....

go to Auto Zone get you a repair manual is $18 buck.

go to the library please, its your best bet, the pads are easy to change but changing the rotors requires removing the caliper brackets.
