If someone emailed you and told you they were sure that you had feelings for them but you weren't admitting it ( i find this a very bold thing to do), would you respond back and set them straight either way?especially if you actually don't like them that way, or just leave it alone and let them think what they want.

I feel that if I don't respond, it's an admission of guilt?

You should answer it, and if you don't have feelings be brief about it. Obviously they have feelings for you so don't leave them hanging but don't give them false hope, either.

First make sure that it was infact that person who sent that email and not one of their annoying friends.. which could be catistrofic if you replyed thinking they sent it!

If i where you i would ignore the email and if they send another one of confront you, then you can tell them that you have no other feelings except for friendship. Although this is a common excuse it is actually less harsh to that person and its better then a full slap in the face i dont love you ect.

Good luck with that xoxox

I would be honest. If you are honest with someone, they tend to be honest with you. If you put down that you really are not interested in them that way, then they will be able to revise their course of action and go on to someone who might be more receptive to their advances. If you don't like them and let them keep trying, it could get quite embarrassing.

If you do like them, what are you waiting for? Have some fun until you figure out that you really aren't or are compatible. Either way, at least you could get past this point.

Set them straight! That was a little bold, and a little rude of them to do. Put that person in their place and tell them to talk to you face to face next time. Saying important stuff over e-mail is a plain old cowardish.

oooooooooo*l*oooooooooooooo
if you do hv a crush on him (u know that guy,of course)..
i think u'd better reply back by saying something came across ur mind after u read his email. So.. if u dun like him at all.. then just keep silent n no reply.

You could always answer questioning whether they have feelings they are not expressing.

you might want to answer back because not answering could lead to gossip.
