Another remedy is to mix honey and cinnamon in the following proportions 2 tablespoons of honey, one teaspoon cinnamon (powder) and add 1 cup boiling water to it, or boil in water. Drink this mixture 3 times a day, you should be fine in two days.

Another old remedy is to put the honey and cinnamon in red wine and boil it, and add cayenne pepper to it as well... drink this before bed. Warning!! It makes you sweat like crazy!

get something called Airborne. Available at Walgreen's, Osco, CVS, etc. It is a homeopathic thing that has Vitamin C, echinacia, etc. It is a fizzy tablet that one dissolves in water & then drink it (citrus flavor). I always take this. And drink tea, eat chicken noodle soup & get lots of rest!

When you feel a cold coming on, take Zinc and vit C right away (find it together in the med isle). It will lessen the amount of days that you are sick.

I recommend large doses of vitamin c. If you drink a lot of OJ your body won't absorb all of it though. You should get vitamin c supplements.
