who cares? there are theist philosophers who switched to atheism as well. it doesn't prove anything except that a couple of people changed their minds.

*eyeroll* a little sensitive, are we? there is a difference as thinking a question is silly, and being offended by it. perhaps you should stop reading insult into everything you read.

I forget his name but I've read most of his post conversion works and found so much wrong with them that I was almost insulted that he used to be an atheist.

Besides, he only became a deist -- "there is a god but he wound up the universe then walked away." He did not become religious.
