First things first.
Both of us are in college. She is 20, I am 21.
I met her thru my job (I fix student's computers).
One night after work, I went with her back to her place to look at a problem she was having with her internet connection after fixing her computer while I was at work.
What took 2 minutes to look at and fix lasted nearly 4 hours, as we sat and ate pizza and got to know each other - she started asking me questions about myself, and it took off from there.
It was amazing... we were finishing each other sentences, and she showed me her tattoo (strategically placed mind you - not normally visible) - and I didn't even ask to see it!
She kept touching me on the arm and on the shoulder while I was fixing her computer, she did so repeatedly, for reasons I am uncertain of.
She is recently single, but I am beginning to wonder if she is just a flirt and is using me just for my computer knowledge, or if she really likes me/is interested in me.
Help!

I just discovered today that she needs her computer to be reformatted, which is a very time-consuming process to say the least, - this will give us more time to get to know each other obviiously.
I would really like to get to know her better, and see if there is any way I can distinguish between her and I being "just friends", or if she may be wanting/thinking about something more between us... as much as I would like that second option to be true, I just can't see it happening!
What could I talk to her about without making myself too obvious that I am trying to figure her out?

Find out by asking her out to dinner. Say jokingly that she owes you for all the computer jobs you did for her. If she declines (for no reason) then you have found out she is a flirt. And there is plenty of these ladies out there and they won't go very far if they are only craving attention. Of course if she says yes then it means that you are at least considered worth being seen with her. But by the sounds of this (the whole 4 hours thing) I would bet all the money i have that this girl would date you if only you would ask.
If she is a flirt though and says no, she also won't act like this is a weird thing either because she is probably used to her actions causing people to do this.
My advice though currently is take it at face value. To read into it too much is not wise coz you could make wrong assumptions. If you like the girl and want to date her then ask her with a bit of confidence that this girl does like you, and dont let it bother you if she says no.

Don't ask her out just yet. IF she's recently single, she might just want a rebound, get to know each other better. She's flirting, hoping u'd make a move; but that could hurt u in the long run. It's not easy to be alone, which is why rebounds exist, and if she's just looking for a computer guy to elevate her ego, she might've picked u. U should wait a bit longer, until she's had some decent time alone, and then ask her out...that way u know with some certainty that she's just not into u for ur computer knowledge and to get her groove back. Plus, if u guys spend time away from computers and she's cool with that, then u'll know she likes hanging with u in public, and she's not just using u for ur computer knowledge.

Mind you, there are a few people out there that are the touchy feely type. They don't mean anything by it. Probably from a very affectionate family. But, when you said she showed you her tatoo, well now that just went down the other direction. She may be horny as hell. Could be why she is recently single. Maybe the other guy left because she was unfaithful or just too loose. Ask her out. The next time she puts her hand on you, quickly put your hand on top of hers. This will cause instant eye contact. She'll either immediately pull away or she'll wait for your next move. Go from there.

Take it slow! Have fun talking etc. No need to find out everything in one day.
If you want to know if she likes you and your company and isn't using you for your computer skills then politely decline the next time she asks for pc help. Subtly change the subject, going out for coffee, going to a pizza joint etc. something small not sounding like a "big date"
If all that goes well then you'll know more about her and the situation you are in. You'll know if you want to help her with her pc/internet needs.

Hard to know. My first reaction is that she is interested and certainly flirting. All signals seem good. What makes you think it's just empty flirting? It all looked good to me. Try asking her out to see if she wants to spend time with you with computer issues off the table.

Sounds like she is interested. Showing you her tattoo and making reasons to touch you are pretty much the signs. Ask her out then you will definitely know. Girls like guys that are more forward, especially when they are laying down the hints. Good luck!

honey if she just was "using" you for your computer knowledge, she would have acted polite and as soon as the problem was fixed (and w/limited conversation) she would have thanked you and sent you on the way!
this girl is into you.
but be careful! if she is soon out of a relationship...take it slow, you don't want to be the rebound guy!

Dude..she's probebly turned on by a guy who is a computer geek..I think it's great..I fell in love with a smart man...go for it...she does like you dude...just keep in touch with her...be friends first..before u know it..things will take off...
