The fact that you have HPV shouldn't be a problem to him because it will never affect him! I had it at one point and now I'm dealing with cervical cancer, my fiance and other men that slept with since I found out haven't been infected and if they are(like the guy I got it from) it doesn't affect them at all that's why so many men have it and are spreading it like wild fire without even knowing it! So is the problem that you got it while you were dating him(as in you were cheating on him) then that may be another issue! If you cheated on him and he is forgiving you all you can do is except that and never bring it up again! If he starts acting weird and insecure you should let him go because he's not over it and will only make things worse!!! Keep yourself healthy!!!

First of all, HPV is goes undectable to just about everyone but even more-so in men, and youre lucky you caught it now before you got cervical cancer. Almost 7 out of 10 people who are sexually active have some type of HPV virus (and there are hundreds). You CAN contract it even when you USE A CONDOM. You could have had it for years and not even known it, he could have had it and given it to you. It isnt an issue of cheating because of its long hibernation periods, he would be a fool to break up with you, because remember the statistics, hes bound to run across another girl who has HPV, or even a worser STD. You arent alone, and just make sure you are getting regular papsmears, every six months.

if hes more into touching you then letting you know when the time is right, then you two should have a serious talk...and explain to him what you are thinking....dont let him pressure you into anything your not ready for "at the time, or anytime" and about the hpv, if he really understands and says he's going to stick by you, then give him the chance, you'll never know until anything happens. and if he chooses to leave you over the not touching..or the hpv..then he wasnt worth your time in the first place and he wasnt a real man. so right now, deal with whats happening at this time.

Go get treatment. HPV is actually pretty common but I think I heard it can develop into cancer and they have a vaccine for it now. To be honest, it sounds like you have a great guy there and I wouldn't worry about it too much. Telling him was the best possible thing you could do and it sounds like he was being really sensitive to you. A guy who is considering leaving a girl is not usually kind to the girl, lol.
Don't worry about it. =) Smile and let him know how much you love him.

you said hpv. is that hepitius or are you talking about HIV? If its hiv let him go. You don't want to chance having sex with him even with a condom. What happens if he gets it. How would you feel if you knew you had sentanced him to death? If its hepititus then I don't know. Is it A, B, or C? If its A or B its fine but C is nearly as bad as HIV from what I've heard. I'm sorry you got to go thru this and I will pray for a cure. Who knows in 10 years we might finaly get a cure.
Hey i'm sorry, I haven't heard of HPV. I thought it was just a misstype. I still wish you the best and good luck.

I wouldn't get too melodramatic about it...
"Approximately 20 million people are currently infected with HPV. At least 50 percent of sexually active men and women acquire genital HPV infection at some point in their lives. By age 50, at least 80 percent of women will have acquired genital HPV infection. About 6.2 million Americans get a new genital HPV infection each year."
"There is no "cure" for HPV infection, although in most women the infection goes away on its own."

I applaud you for leveling with your boyfriend. Now that you have told him, the next move is up to him, but you may wish to consult your doctor to learn more about your condition and how much of a danger you are to others.
HPV is the cause of 95% of cervical cancer. A new vaccine for this has been found so you should get the vaccine as soon as possible. Not all physicians have the vaccine but your doctor should be able to refer you to someone who does have it.
A lot depends on your age. If you are underage and have a good relationship with your parents, talk it over with them.
You are to be commended for being so conscientious.

I'd be straight up with him, but as I read in this site.........

"There is no "cure" for HPV infection, although in most women the infection goes away on its own"
There's no reason not to be honest.
