Girls will usually give excuses, as they don't like confrontations and they most likely won't hurt your feeling unless pushed. Usually, if they want to go out with you they will say, "Sorry, but I would like to go out, but could we make it so and so day," or she'll drop everything to go out with you. I don't think it looks good, but give it another try. It won't hurt anything and at least you will know. You can adopt the 3 strikes your out rule.

I think you should move on. Seems like the classic not interested syndrome. I wouldn't waste my time because as a woman I know that the nice way to turn someone down is be nice and give some excuse, sometimes true sometimes not so much. I think you are putting you both in an awkward place and the more you ask the worse it will get. Find someone that is interested in you.
Best Wishes!!!

You should already forget her. You tried twice, try with someone else.
I usually don't even reply because it's usually perverted random guys who ask me out when I'm walking down the street to go somewhere. But if it's a NICE random guy, I'll admit that I'm in a relationship. If it's a guy I know, I'll say that I'm sorry but not interested.

call her out on it. ask her again if she wants to do something. if she makes up an excuse straight up tell her she's just making excuses. If she says she isn't. Tell her she is. Then simply either walk away or tell her she's missing out. This way you put pressure on her. If she likes you, she'll seek you out to make it up. If not she obviously doesn't care and you shouldn't either. Good luck dude.

I can't speak for every girl, but I know when I didn't want to go out with a guy, I made up things too. If there ever really was something and I honestly couldn't go, I would make sure we had each others numbers and I called him after I was done with what ever to see if he was still interested.

For me, it depends on the situation. If I'm at a bar for example, and I'm never going to see that guy again, I usually make up an excuse. However, if it's somebody I actually know, then I am honest and say no.
Hang in there!

More than likely I think she is being nice and giving a excuse. Give her some space and if they weren't excuses she'll get a hold of you

If the guy is a pal and i don't want to hurt his feelings perhaps a excuse of some sort.

I agree. It is much better to tell 'em up front. While I might not say 'Hey, get lost.' I get to the point. And...don't look them in the eye.
But... not everyone is like that. She might be sparring your feelings, or even using you as a joke. Ask her this to her face, and study her reaction.

No, if the second time you ask and she says no and does not give you an alternative, then you stop.
