confidence is OK, but it is small potatoes compared to fame and power in the starry eyes of the girls...

For me I would say good sense of humor and the ability to be open and relaxed are the main things that are attractive for me in a guy. Confidence is like in third place, because I mean either you have the confidence to come up to me and share a joke or make a witty comment or you don't. Confidence shows itself right away before anything else. So why seek out the obvious? And besides many women are making the first move more than guys are anyway, so I think the guys should be checking for the confidence in the women. Not the other way around.

Confidence is good, but definitely not the main thing for me. Confidence is more of a quality I'd like to discover that a guy has but as far as attraction...smile, sense of humor, respectfulness.
Best Wishes!

no. i look for respect. treat a girl like a woman. as if she is higher up on the status line than you. give her some flowers, tell her she is georgeous. don't have sex with her until you are married. it means that you respect her and love her so much that you are willing to wait for her. girls love a guy who's dedicated like that. be yourself.
take it from me. i've got a boyfriend whom i am not attracted to at all. i do not get along with him very well, but he is my good friend. i am in love with my best friend and my bf doesn't know. i won't tell him either. i just play the part as his gf. it's horrid, i know. i am so upset over the whole situation. i wish i could be myself around my bf, but i can't because i don't love him. my relationship with my bf will never work because i am not being myself and i am not telling him how i really feel.
if you are yourself and you really like a girl, go for it. i hope she won't be like me and be a great actress instead of being truthfull to her feelings.

Yes, but there is a KEY difference between confidence and arrogance. Yes, be confident in yourself and have a self-esteem, but do not be vain or arrogant or conceited...that is a huge turn off for me, personally. Just be yourself and believe in yourself and you should do just fine!
Also, smile and be friendly, too many guys try to be tough, hard-asses and only come across as arrogant fools and do not interest me in the least!!! :) Good luck to you and God bless!! :)
