just wondering if a 99 is good as a IQ test score because i am olny 12 and i took a phd certifed IQ test and i got a 99 is that good?????

You're only 12. It does not matter really.
But if you really must know, no, 99 isn't a good score. 101 is supposedly average for the US (Greece has an average of like 109), but that includes everyone. Like everyone. If you get my rift. (drift? I don't know, I don't hear that saying very often. Ahah.)
But don't worry, you're only 12. 99 is probably like, average-above average for someone your age (I don't know.) But either way, you're already close to the adult average IQ so yeah.

Lol, no it does not make you dumb. An IQ test actually doesn't consider age at all when it grades you. It's all in how you answer the questions. Try the test again in a few years once you're older, and I'll bet you score differently, because you'll have more knowledge and your thinking processes will change considerably over the next few years. Your knowledge and your thinking processes significantly affects your score, but your actual age isn't taken into consideration.

99 is fine. 100 means your are right on par (Average) getting a 99 is on par. be worried if it was an 80 or below. The way an iq test works is it judges your intelligence for your age, and asses your intelligence by what you should know at your age.

No it's not good. They curve the score based on your age, so that shouldn't be a factor.
IQ tests are not a very reliable measure of intellegence though, so don't get hung up on the number. Some people just don't test well.

Yes it is fine for a young person. many of the questions are for older people so you did good. do not let the IQ test or any test define what you are or how you feel about yourself. it is a silly test. a score of 135 is genius so 99 is pretty darn good. these tests are not accurate anyway. some geniuses are rotton people anyway.

It's okay. 100 is average.
And just for clarification in response to the person who posted above me a while ago, 135 is not genius. 130 is generally accepted as "gifted." I heard somewhere around 145 is genius.
