ok, so i have acne, not too bad, but kind of annoying. i have oily AND dry skin. which also is annoying. (lol). and i HATE buying products because they usually dont work. (i have proactive, and it kinda works). so i was wondering if anyone had any like "natural" advice. Some told me washing your face with warm water instead of cold. so thats what i mean by natural? sorry if i dont make sense!!!

Thanks for your help!!!

I'm in the same boat as you! Before i go to bed I apply toothpaste (non-gel kind) on face pimples and it actually works. It helps shrink them down and get's rid of the redness. When you wake up do your daily face wash and you should be good to go. I usually wash my face with warm water because cold water just doesn't seem fun early in the morning.

I recommend starting by washing your face w/ very warm (NOT HOT) water, then finish up w/ a splash of cold water. For facial cleansers, check out Cetaphil or Basis brand cleansers. (The warm water opens your pores so you can clean them better, then the cold water closes them back up). I've started using witch hazel (you'll probably find it w/ the first aid supplies @ the store) on my face as a toner, and I've noticed my skin has been looking better- my blemishes have been slowly fading away.

Don't wet your face right after waking up. Rinse it with a not too strong warm tea after your breakfast. It worked for me.
