For example:
1 Corinthians 1:18
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
I agree completely! I think the message of the cross is stupid!
Here's another point of agreement:
1 Corinthians 4:10
We are fools on Christ's account, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are held in honor, but we in disrepute.
Yes! Paul was a fool, and I agree completely!
When the Bible itself admits that it's teachings are foolish to those who do not accept them, why then do I keep getting reported for agreeng with it? Shouldn't you guys feel glib instead when I say those things because it confirms what your book says?

It doesn't matter if I think I'm perishing, what matters is that YOU think it, and I behave accordingly. You should thank me.

Wow I can't believe Christians don't want to admit what the book they worship says. I'm not agreeing that I'M a fool, I'm agreeing that the message of the cross is stupid, and that Paul was an idiot.

The first scripture DOES NOT SAY I AM A FOOL. Read it and comprehend it, or don't bother answering.

It's good of you to quote the Bible, but muzzle it then, I don't think the maa ka paus (you gotta know Hindi to know what maa ka paus means but suffice to say it denotes Christians) like your judgments.
I am not a Christian

I don't know who is reporting you, but you are not really "confirming" Biblical doctrine with such statements. You are just demonstrating some of them.
By stating "I think the message of the cross is stupid", you are identifying yourself as someone who is "perishing", NOT confirming that "some people believe the message of the cross is foolishness". The latter is not a teaching, it is simply a fact of life.
By stating "Paul was a fool", you are not proving ANYTHING, other than you have a bigoted opinion of the man. In this instance, you are taking the verse out of context. 1Cor 4:10 is really part of a "rant": Paul had a beef with the Corinthians' spiritual arrogance, and was trying to illustrate it with the relative dichotomy of their lives. The Corinthinans assumed that their earthly comforts somehow "proved" they were "more spiritual" than the people that had originally preached the faith to them.
Feel glib? Hardly. I feel sad for your sake.

I agree with you Spam,
The Bible is only coherant to those who have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying.
This is why Christ during His Ministry spoke in Parables so that the Holy Spirit would speak through Him to those who had the capacity to receive the message.
In fact there is a Parable of the Wheat and the Tares which illustrates that there are those on this earth who were destined to deny Christ and His Eternal Love.
God knows everything, and He knows who would accept Him and who would not. This is why His Gospel is foolishness to some, because they lack understanding.
I have to say I respect your own honesty in admitting your own lack of understanding.
All through the Bible God used offensive symbols to confound the "self-wise."
When He first described Communion many thought He was promoting Canibalism.
The Israelis were expecting a King born in a beautiful Palace, He was born in a smelly Manger.
They expected their King to ride into town on a great majestic horse, He rode in on a donkey.
He did these things so people would have to release from their own self importance and just humbly accept what He was saying.
he said unless you come to me as a child, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
Again, I appreciate your honesty.

I have no problem with you admitting that your a fool. I am sorry that you are going to perish. Paul foolishness was the persecution of Christians just as yours is. I do not feel glee in your unbelief for I wish all to understand and come to recognize the truth of God's promise to all mankind.

Because as a Chrisitan I am to share the Love of Christ with those who are lost, they who don't believe will consider it foolish, that's true. I'm not offended or angered with what your asking.
You make a very good point. But as a Christian, I believe that we are to reach out to the lost with the Good News that Jesus loves them and that there is hope.

there's a story in the old testament of an a** getting beaten for not going where his rider wanted, and was given a voice to ask his rider why he was getting beaten for trying to go in a direction that would save his riders life. Is this why you feel it necessary to correct christians? Feel free to speak up then.

It is foolish to you because you are the one being spoken about in the scripture............1 Corinthians 1 : 18 .. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness ( this refers to you , being unsaved and your foolishness in not believing the preached Word of God ) ( the rest of the verse is for us that are saved and believe in The Lord as our Savior )..; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God ..... Corinthians 4 : 10 .. We are fools for Christ`s sake , but ye are wise in Christ ; we are weak , but ye are strong ; ye are honourable., but we are despised..... ( This simply means that we that are saved and believe in Jesus as our Savior , we appear foolish to you as you are an unbeliever , you think you are smarter than us as believers because you doubt , you think we are weak because we believe , as an unbeliever you think you have more knowledge than us , you think you are correct in your doubting , and you do not like us ( despise ) because we believe in the Lord and His Word . The passage is simply stating that you are the fool in God`s eyes for your refusal to believe........Also , read further in 1Corinthians 2 : 14 .. But the "natural man" ( "you" ) receiveth not the things of of the Spirit of God : for they are foolishness unto "him" ( "you" ): neither can "he" ( "you" ) know them , because "they "( "you" & the rest of the "unbelievers" ) are spiritually discerned !!!! * Discerned means * apart , seperate , unable to perceive or recognize clearly !! In your case this means " you " , as " you " are unable to perceive the Word of God .

So you are saying that you believe that you are one of the ones it is talking about when it says "those who are perishing"? Only you can choose that for yourself.
