There is a part time cop that works at the police department where I dispatch. He is always stopping by on his off days when I work just to say hi. He always asks me if I need anything and is very sweet. All the guys say he likes me and I should ask him out. I really wont to but im afraid he will say no. How do I approach this situation?

The above are very good. If you don't wanna ask him out for dinner, then ask him out for drinks or coffee.

Get it in your head that he must like you if he is stopping by all the time like that. So just do it. What are you doing later? Do you wanna get dinner? That's all

just act causuall and start up a conversation when he is about to leave just say hey u doing anything tonight? if so......i was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me. (look shy) gets them all the time
