So how can they claim I was encouraging "illegal" drug use by talking about smoking it in MY OWN HOME, which is completely LEGAL under ALASKAN STATE LAW?

Obviously not...... There are a lot of things that yahoo doesn't know. Like moderating Yahoo answers for one.....

Why does Yahoo care if having up to an ounce of pot is legal in Alaska? Frankly, why would anyone but potheads care?

It's ridiculous. There can be no rational dialogue about this issue if we keep censoring ourselves and there can be no freedom anywhere if we pretend the internet is at every location, in every place. If you did that you'd have to assume every limitation in every possible place and nothing would get discussed.

Face it everyone, the internet is it's own place, space, area etc.
It's not Alaska, California, Cuba or North Korea. Watch your butt, but assert your freedom. Push the limits on what can be discussed, because one day the ignorance we push on our kids will be the end of us all.

face it, yahoo censors whatever they want, this is why even though I play on Yahoo answers every once in awhile I have google set to my homepage and I do all my searches through it.

People love Google because Yahoo is annoying, thats why their stock is dropping like Monica's dress in the oval office.

Is this suppose to be a selling point for the state of Alaska?

It is not a good one. It doesn't draw me in.

Give me nice ole Oklahoma any day. (That's where I'm from. Any amount of Marijuana is illegal.)
