I think you are talking about two different things.

A D&C is where they go into the womb and scrape left over miscarriages, after birth and sometimes other stuff that needs to be removed...perhaps infection to.

A Vaginal infection doesn't include the womb D&C. Perhaps you have a bad yeast infection. See a doctor. Good Luck. Pops

In most cases , no...I. use to work for an OBGYN......Most vaginal infections even bad serious ones are treatable with Antibiotics.....Most D&C's are performed after a woman has miscarried,......It is used to basically clean her out...If you are talking about yourself then you should be seen by a doctor.

I've never heard of that procedure being done for a vaginal infection . There are specific medications for this , your Dr. can tell you more , assuming you haven't been to Dr. you really should go , and get a procedure done that is called a pabst-smear, this will tell dr, exactly what it is that you or whomever has for sure , and be able to treat it correctly. they normally to not do d&c's on vaginal infections, normally thats treated with antiboitics

d&c is for when you have a miscarriage or an abortion.. not for vaginal infections!
