You ARE cute--it's just hiding in there, and you need to work a little bit to bring it out.
Go to JCPenney and get color-typed, they have this service at the makeup counters to help you find the colors that complement your skin tones best in makeup and clothes.
Review your wardrobe carefully, and THROW OUT anything that you don't look cute in. Go and shop anywhere, everywhere, including secondhand stores, to find the things you DO look cute in, that are in your colors and cut to flatter YOUR figure. Try more solid colors than patterns, when you find your good colors. Guys like solid colors so that they can see your shape better.
Get some bath salts and skin softeners and work on every inch of your body, smoothing with pumice stone and nail file kit. Make your feet the cutest feet, your hands the cutest hands, etc. until ALL of you is just TOO CUTE!
Find a fragrance that enhances your natural pheremones (again, JCPenney is a good place, because they have tester bottles out on the cologne and perfume counters for you to try on) and mix it with something regular, like Jean Nate or a nice-smelling deodorant so that it isn't easily recognizable. Then you can smell cute.
Get your teeth whitened, and pay special attention to your hair. Go to a stylist (at least one time) to get a good idea of the best cut to flatter your face, and then get that cut if it doesn't require too much maintenance. You need a hairdo that you can get all touseled and still look CUTE.
This is what it takes to be cute. Pretty girls are ugly if they don't do these things and work at being cute, and ordinary girls are cute if they follow the rules listed above.
Good luck!

Your lovely :) I have no idea what the quandary is, those men are surely simply jerks do not allow them to get to you. It possibly on account that your shy, i have no idea if this is helping.. however im shy aswell and in high school men concept of me as 'the bizarre quiet lady' and used to behave the identical with me. I began getting boyfriends whilst i grew to become 18.. at that age men have a tendency to be extra mature (there are nonetheless a few jerks) and can take the hassle to get to grasp you. Dont ever permit any one make you suppose like your unsightly.

Of course, every guy's (well, almost every guy) eyes gets caught by a beautiful girl. But few guys would dare to go talk to her, and those that do, usually gets rejected. Not every guy likes beautiful girls other than for observing for this reason. The point is, tons of guys out there are constantly looking for girls. If you were one of the rare girls who went out, and was confident enough to talk to a guy (find a guy that's shy, or fun, try not to go for those abusive ones who are full of egos), that guy might like you, even if he doesn't at the beginning. I don't mean go and ask every guy out. Be that girl who is confident enough to strike up a conversation with the guy she finds interesting, and have fun while at it. The chances of getting a boyfriend is better with this strategy than to simply sit around and wait, because that's where most of the market is. While for guys using this strategy, it's a bit of a different story. People like you (girls who admit they like guys) are needed around the dating scene in my opinion. Because girls aren't really interested in guys, guys are interested in girls :'( If you can harness this "power" and gain confidence, I'm 100% sure you will find a GREAT guy. To better your odds even further, dress nice, and wear some make-up, it'll help (sorry, I don't know much about dresses and make-ups).

I'll bet you're not ugly at all but if you have low self esteem it will turn people off. What would make you feel better about yourself? A new haircut, new clothes, lose weight. There is so much you can do to change yourself if you're not happy with the way you look.

Have faith there is someone out there who likes you for who you are. You just got to get up the confidense to go find them. Makeup and clothes are not everything, they might help a little on the way but they aren't everything. Just go out there and be yourself and let the boys come to you!

No such thing as ugly. If some one can not appreciate you as you are then you are too good for them
