I am allergic to iodine...so it would be a non contrast test I am assuming.

Yes it most defiantly will, providing the CT scan if of the abdomen. I'm suppose to have a CT scan next week of my abdomen and pelvis. So I ask everything I could think of and an abdominal aneurysm is one of the questions I ask the radiologist, "If an abdominal aneurysm would show up on a CT", he said yes. Providing your injected with contrast. This contrast highlights all the arteries and veins.

An AAA will show up on a CT, an ultra sound, or an X-ray.
