Pizza place where they can make a pizza. There are many places that will allow this such as chuckey cheese. They'll take them into the kitchen and let them put a pizza together
fish farms, zoo, aquarium
childrens theater---local college or high school
discovery zone is a great one
check to see if there is a childrens museum or science museum
library--let them get their own card and check out a book
fire department
police department
dentist office
Old Folks home is a great one for them and for the old people
nature hunt at the park....they can collect leaves, rocks, sticks, etc for a nature collage when they get back to the center

Any children's museums around? How about a park of some sort? Ummm...third...maybe a movie?
3 is awful young for so many field trips in preschool. Just my opinion.

Nature walks, to make more interesting find out what types of plants wild life or just about anything on your journey. Make pictures of these get a few clip boards and encourage the children to circle what they see on there journey.
Farms, pet store, supermarket buy ingredients for a fruit salad or cakes.
The children I work with enjoyed a trip to the post box to post a letter to their home with a picture they had done.
School play rehearsals as its coming up to Christmas.
As a child I remember my class going to the old peoples home and singing carols for them.

Home Depot will let you come to their store for a field trip. They talk about what plants need to grow, etc. All the kids get a little orange apron. It's FREE too!

my preschool class loves to go the library for storytime. They dance, sing and what child doesn't love to have a story read to them?
