I have made button holes in the bottom side of the duvet cover. And I have sewn buttons on the corners of the comforter part. This keeps the comforter from slipping around inside the duvet cover. And no safety pin or scratchy velcro issues!

You could try using Velcro...they have the kind you iron on. when you take it out next time turn the cover inside out and iron the velcro to the side that goes down on the bed so it won't show then make sure you put the other velcro on the same spot on your comforter. You could put a few stitches in if you need to and it won't show. When you put it back on the comforter press the inside two corners down first then pull the cover up and press the top two together. Also, if you sew you could just make one stitch in each corner where the seams are and use thick thread like embrordery thread and when you need to take it off just cut the thread. Also, if you aren't too rough with the whole thing you might try diaper pins underneath on the corners. good luck.

I sewed snaps inside each corner of the cover and the other side of the snap to the corners of the duvet. If it still moves, sew snaps to the center of the sides as well. I found the velcro gets the feathers stuck in it.

I put a safety pin on the comforter and then attach it in each corner (inside) the duvet. That keeps it from moving around.

Sometimes it can look a bit tacky, but you can always try using very small saftey pins and pinning the actual duvet corners to the cover on the outside of it. But only the four corners cuz i dont think you wan to be stabbed by loose saftey pins in the middle of your blanket in the middle of the night!!!!! Hope I helped. I have the same problem and its really irritating!

2 ways a safty pins but those can come loose and poke you or you can buy some stick on velcro strips place a 2 inch piece in each corner and your good to go. plus side of pin no damage to bedding and easy to remove.down side you could get poked won't hold in place as well and could rip. plus side of velcro you dont get poked and it will hold bedding in place better and won't be noticable . down side of velcro may wear off and need to be replaced after to many washes .Gl
