i have no problems with stamina, as i dont run out of breath, but for the most part, i cannot run for more than 30 minutes straight because of the pain. is there anyway to deal with that?

It could very well be an internal oblique muscle that is being overworked. You know when you run how you twist a little
with each stride? Well, the oblique muscles are doing the twisting.

Same happened to me, until I began to stretch well before and after I ran, and began to breath in through the nose, and out through the mouth.

I read that its called a runners stich and its a benign pain that is not uncommon.

nope...all it is is lactic acid in your muscles. nothing to worry about.
