Isnt peace with Islamists impossible considering that they see "offense" in Americans every action?

The weakest argument in all human history, for war, was Bin Ladens, yet the polling data is very clear. Bin Ladens view is mainstream in Islam.

Even in here you hear western muslims speak of vague and ridiculous concepts like American "hegemony", which is floating standard that can simply always be asserted about most any country.

You simply must look at the arguments accepted by the mainstream of islamic culture (including in america) and conclude that peace is absolutely impossible.

Furthmore, Islam, like most religions, defines itself in contrast to a declared "enemy". However, Islam takes it the next step and makes outright violent war with the self declared "enemy" a duty. It matters not whether some Muslims dont believe this is the case because even the dumbest recognize that more than enough do believe it is the case, which is all that matters.

We should and can never be at peace with Islam as long as they kill our sons and daughters overseas and plan on killing us and our parents here within our own borders. We cannot tolerate them whatsoever. They, Muslims, are our enemies.

As for Islam itself, there is no 'Islamic belief', except the Qur'an. Every Muslim is supposed to make up his own mind; there is no central doctrine or leader, as in Catholicism.

It's like saying that you feel the same as (insert Cristian religion) about the French, because you're both Christians, not because they're Socialist pus sies. Get it? Just because people hate you for wrong reasons, doesn't mean that they don't have some right.

Americans don't judge the world so don't blame them. It's the govt. that judges not the people. I'm not saying some people don't judge other countries, but not all American do that. Believe it or not there are quite a few of us that don't believe everything the media spoon feeds us. We are intelligent enough to know what sources are biased. Are you? NO You listen to the media in your countries that continually bash America and it's civilians. You assume everything our govt. does is for oil, money or power. This is the case many time, but it's not the only reason we go into other countries. Try as you might you cannot deny all of the aid we give to other countries for no other reason than humanitarian. It's time for many to stop being so deluded and realize there is more to each nation that just it's politics or govt.

spreading the hate the war merchants have taught you shows no imagenation of your own. Every problem has a solution and what I think would help is if people who thought as you do were all locked up then the rest of us would work it all out. Why is it you think they are unhappy with us. Perhaps if we just stop manipulating for profit then they would work things out amongst each other. Neither God nor the Arabs need our interferance. If we steped out we would hear the sound of one hand clapping.

Peace with radical Islamic governments is impossible. They seem to feel they can "change" us by the force of terrorism. If that theory is correct, would the same apply if we showed them the uselessness of that by using real force ourselves on the things near and dear to them?
Would even the THREAT of that be of any help in stopping these senseless Holy Wars on the West???
