Unfortunately, I cannot say that I pray the Holy Rosary regularly. However, I do love this prayer, & I highly commend you for praying the Rosary regularly yourself.
The Holy Rosary is the Blessed Virgin Mary's Favourite Prayer, & therefore, Christ's Favourite Prayer too.
I really love Our Lord & Our Lady very much.
God Bless you.:-)

I don't do the Rosary regularly, but I find it very calming when I do. When I was younger I used to be into Eastern philosophies, and meditated a lot. The calm I feel after reciting Mary's Crown is very similar to the relaxation that came from meditation.

I used to, years ago, when I was Catholic. Even for those who do not believe in the prayers, the meditation of the chanting can be soothing.
Years ago, my husband wrote a guide for praying and understanding the rosary. It has been circling Catholic web sites for years and still going strong. Here is one such site.

The Lord says not to pray repitious prayers like the heathen do (Matthew 6:7). Praying the rosary is no differant than old pagan practices. Also, your prayers are to be directed to the Father only just as Jesus did in the garden when the disciples asked how they should pray. And as an example he said the Lord's prayer but that doesn't mean it has to be that exact prayer. Jesus is our example. You will never find Him or any of the diciples praying to anyone else!!!! And after Jesus entered Heaven, nothing changed as far as prayer and He didn't say to pray to Mary or any other person. Read your bibles not the catecism. Listen to God's direction, not unbiblical teachings.

Why should I? I do not need it to pray to God.
Before you get too involved in using the rosary, you may be surprised to learn that it has a pagan past. The rosary began with goddess worship long before the Christian era. The name `rosary`, from the word `rose`, was originally `japamala` or `rose-chaplet` in ancient India, and was associated with the goddess Kali. In Christianity, the rosary came to be linked with the cult of Mary, and the rose was adopted as one of her symbols from its far more ancient associations with the Great Goddess.
You are deceiving yourself if you think you can gain an audience with God by using something that had its origins from the pagan past. Get rid of your rosary!

I used to do it as often as I could, I'd do all fifteen mysteries a day, prior to my transition to being an atheist.
