Try raisin bran. basically you want to use anything that has lots of fiber in it.

may sound strange, but try it. i <3 it: dry oatmeal, not tthe flavoured kind, pour cold milk on top, maybe add raisins, or add froted flakes instead (makes it taste a lot like honey bunches of oats...without the little clusters, of course). oats will decrease cholesterol like none other. they also are a great source of energy. and i dunno if you look at the protein content, but one cup of special k has 6 grams, but the same amount of dry oatmeal has twice the protein.
