Yes during bootcamp you will have to shower in a community shower, much like you see in the movies and in sports complexes.
However, once you are in A school or in the fleet you will be blessed with private showers again...but you still "share" them with several hundred shipmates!

one big room. Actually it is a shower pole with about 6 shower heads on it. You shower in a circle around the pole.

together in a big room with about ten shower heads. you sometimes have to double up. when i was there we had to get 100 guys throght in 15 minutes. girls have it the same way.

we didnt have private showers in the army. you were lucky if the there were doors or walls on the $hitters.
